About Al

Some actors discover the craft. Al was playing it before he had the language for it. From an early age, he was fascinated by people—the rhythm of their speech, the tilt of a shoulder, the way emotion slips into a pause. That curiosity turned into instinctive impersonations, often unplanned and uncannily precise. Performing wasn’t something he decided to do. It was something that kept happening. Al is a natural performer who lives to step into someone else’s skin and explore the world from the inside out. For him, portraying a character—fictional or real—is more than technique. It’s an act of empathy. Each role becomes a small investigation into what makes us human. He doesn’t claim to have all the answers about why acting feels so essential to him, but he continues to uncover that purpose by living it—fully—in every audition room, classroom scene, stage performance, and screen role. The joy is in the doing. Al’s foundation in performance began in theater during his early years and evolved into rigorous professional training, including a three-year acting conservatory program and a four-year degree in Direction and Production of Radio and Television in Colombia. After moving to Los Angeles, he expanded his craft through comedy and improvisation at The Groundlings Theatre & School, joining the “Intro to Improv” workshop, and trained at Hollywood Academy of Music and Arts. Since 2019, Al has been an active member of Actors Workout Studio, where he studies Meisner technique and continues sharpening his instincts through repetition work and emotional truth. He is also an active member of the “Live in the Moment” scene study class, deepening his commitment to presence and responsiveness in every performance. This ongoing training grounds his natural charisma in discipline and craft. On screen, Al has led short films from the New York Film Academy and The Los Angeles Film School, appeared in music videos with CNCO, and starred in “Center of Attention” by LA singer Autumn Alba. He earned the Best Supporting Actor award at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival for the TV pilot “The Cannibals,” acting opposite Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin, who also directed alongside Kim Hopkins. Most recently, Al stepped into the role of Pepe—the villainous yet unexpectedly comedic presence in the vertical series “Napolitana for the Mafia Boss,” now streaming on the shrt.drama app. A character with bite, humor, and unpredictability, Pepe reflects Al’s love for layered, human complexity. Currently in preproduction on his first feature film, Al continues to build stories that matter deeply to him. He doesn’t measure his path by a single destination. Instead, he celebrates momentum—the courage to follow passion wherever it leads.
