About Al
Al Ortega is the unexpected Latino: a bilingual Latin American actor with an American-boy look and Latino accent.
His unique casting lane lives between cultures making him ideal for the charming outsider, the international student, the bilingual boyfriend/leading romantic, the comedic fish-out-of-water, and the sweet-looking young man with surprising darkness and hidden emotional layers.
Trained in Meisner, comedy, and independent filmmaking, Al brings heart, culture, humor, and mystery to characters who are never exactly what they seem.
Award winner as best supporting and comedic Actor at the Hollywood Blood Horror Film Festival for his performance in the Dark Comedy TV Pilot ''The Cannibals''.
